Flinty Red



Had a light lunch at the Flintys. Superb service from the young girl on shift. Really, really great manner and knowledge. Well Done! Food pretty good. Didn't rate the panisse much but the courgette salad was lovely. Lamb breast super. Hake a bit undercooked for me on the first showing. But very nice once given a bit more oven-love.Their passion is so evident in the whole place. Good work guys.

The hunt begins.

So back in Briz. Such a change from Tarragona. (Duh! Obvious) . ALL SEEMS VERY FAMILIAR. Immediate impressions are, in no particular order that Bristol is.....
Bigger.
Buzzier.
Uglier.
Dirtier.
More cosmopolitan.
More eclectic culturally.
Greyer.
More outward-looking.
Less traditional.
Less organized.
The food scene here is definitely more varied. More eclectic.
